Principal Product Design Lead (Mar 2020 – Present) 
Work autonomously in a player-coach capacity, collaborating with cross-functional, design, and business partners, bringing definitions to complex and ambiguous problems through all product channels. Create and shape the design vision, roadmap, and strategic initiatives to enable and scale improved user experiences. Leading the design and execution of complex enterprise software as a product portfolio lead, delivering consistent, high-quality products. Utilize, build, and contribute to an enterprise-wide component-based design system using Figma. User-centered design across the entire product development lifecycle, from initial user research to execution and delivery. Following the double-diamond approach, create end-to-end user journeys from user research, problem analysis, solution prototype ideation, and usability testing to final execution.
Decreased average handle time by 50% for Specialty patient orders through the design creation of a prescription order tracker and simplified order process.

• Identified a $100 million opportunity to improve how Specialty Operations is handling patient medical insurance through a six-week user research process with front and backstage teams.

• Explored user workflows, conducted user interviews and analysis of research data, created patient journey maps to understand user pain points and processes related to copay assistance and coordination of benefits improvements.

• Assisted in realizing a value of $73 million for Specialty Operations through 11 design studio sessions during 2022-2023.

• Organized strategic roadmap sessions for Specialty Operations for 2024 to add approximately $200 million in value.

Lead Product Design, VP (Mar 2019 – Mar 2020)

Promoted to be a part of the executive leadership team. Reported to the Chief Operating Officer, responsible for establishing a unified design vision for the complete Nextech product line for ophthalmology, dermatology, plastic surgery, and orthopedic practices. Partnered with executive leadership to integrate and prioritize product requirements from roadmaps and capacity plans.

• Redesigned an antiquated iPad charting application to increase revenue, user satisfaction, and value.

• Built, led, mentored and coached a design team from the ground up to implement guidelines, tools, and processes to scale consistent products across the organization and successfully execute the company product strategy.

• Transformed and redesigned the Practice+ practice management system through conducting user research, prototyping, interaction design, usability testing, and bi-weekly user co-design sessions.

• Continuous partnership with executive leadership on design vision for all products. Collaborated with cross-functional teams – leads, product managers, engineers, provider office users, designers, and marketing teams.

• Increased sales through the design creation of an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) chart and configurable chart to expand the ophthalmology product offering.

Implemented the UX strategy design practice to create additional revenue for all products. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality designs of varying fidelity. Gathered data through user research, cognitive walkthroughs, contextual inquiry, persona creation, usability testing, information architecture, UX analysis, responsive UX mobile design, and interaction design. Established a design system to ensure consistency between products.
